The inside-out diamond setting is rare because it requires stones on the hidden inner surface of the hoop. When the ear moves or the hoop tilts, the inner diamonds become visible, so the earring is never static. The scalloped edge adds silhouette complexity over a plain hoop. At the 30mm version is a serious diamond earring. At the 20mm version delivers the same inside-out principle at a smaller scale.
